Local Nature Reserve

The local nature reserve is currently very green and full of life. Several species of birds are breeding in the reserve, including Blackbird, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Jackdaw, Woodpigeon and possibly Great-Spotted Woodpecker.

The Grey Squirrels drey seems to have been damaged during the recent gusty weather and both parents seem to have abandoned the nest.

Bats (possibly pipestrals) are active in the evenings but I'm not sure if they're roosting in the bat-boxes.

Unfortunately the pond continues to be used as an ad-hoc litter bin and the water level remains quite low.
